CBSG takes the Organizational Development and Change Management approach to institutional capacity building. The long term OD and Change Management process is very much customized with the need of a particular organization. The process begins with the organizational capacity assessment followed by OD planning. CBSG accompanies the organization in the implementation of OD plan and provides follow up and mentoring support during and after the intervention. It also supports facilitation in the area of strategic planning, governance, organizational learning, and system development such as HRM, M&E, and Financial Policy etc. Development of internal OD facilitator is a unique feature of its OD implementation strategies.

Vibrant, viable and effective organizations require ongoing self assessment and learning maintaining their success. CBSG's unique methodology for organizational capacity assessment and strengthening helps guide organizations in selecting the most appropriate activities, tools, systems and strategies for capacity strengthening and in anticipating and overcoming the greatest barriers to change. This comprehensive process brings together organizational members from all hierarchies and functions to reflect upon their performance and set strategies to broaden their impact and affect change. Through the assessment and planning process, organizations recognize their own potentials and able to make informed decisions for themselves about how to address the challenges they face.Our Assement Method has been successfully applied in organizations in Bangladesh, India, Nepal and Indonesia by the members of CBSG.
Management Improvement
CBSG uses process consultation methods and tools for management improvement initiatives in public agencies and NGOs. It provides support for reorganization, role clarification, improve coordination, team functioning, decentralized decision making and so on to bring efficiency and improve performance in the organization. It is currently focusing on second generation leadership development and succession planning.

We have strong resources and hands on experiences on “Applied Strategic Planning”. We use participatory methods and tools to facilitate interactive and inclusive processes to help organizations develop strategic plans that are realistic yet works as a source of inspiration to attain brighter future. Our approach helps organizations to face reality and find solutions. Our unique approach helps organizations to strike a balance between future aspirations and current challenges thrush systematic analysis, stakeholder involvement and leadership guidance.
System Development
Organizations are run by systems and processes. CBSG help organizations to establish and operationalize essential human and technical systems to achieve greater performance. These include Human Resource Management System, Financial Management System, Performance Management System, Information Management System, Operations Management etc. We not only assist organization to develop the system but also provide training, on site follow up and coaching to operationalize and institutionalize the system. Organized systems are designed to ensure better governance and improved operational efficiency.
