Al Amin Shishir
Sr. Management Consultant
Mr. Shishir is a valued senior member of the CBSG team, holding an MBA degree. He has worked across a variety of areas within CBSG, including Training Facilitation, Agri-Value Chain Analysis, and consultancy project management. In the years 2021-2022, he successfully facilitated the capacity assessment of 25 civil society organizations, including RDRS, BIGD, CPD, IUCN, and several private universities. Additionally, he has coordinated numerous high-profile assignments with Facebook Inc, USAID projects Implementors such as Chemonics, DAI, Abt Associates, ICF, and also with many overseas universities. Notably, Mr. Shishir played an instrumental role in Agri-Value Chain analysis during the SAFETI final evaluation for Winrock International.

Mamta Mehar, Ph.D
Senior Consultant - Agro-Economic and Women Empowerment
Dr. Mamta is a senior fellow of CBSG. She has more than 15 years of professional experience (national and international) of effectively communicating about ex-post and ex-ante impact evaluation projects, agriculture and aquaculture, climate change, disaster risk (threat, adaptation, mitigation) nutrition and Gender equality rights to all audience (global to local). She has proven expertise in survey and evaluations and worked in several Asian countries including Bangladesh, Nepal, Malaysia and India.

Dr. Golam Mostafa, Ph.D
Senior Research Fellow
Dr. Mostafa is a senior fellow of CBSG. He is a Ph.D. in population studies from International Institute of Population Science, Mumbai. Earlier, he obtained master’s degree in statistics from Jahangir Nagar University and other masters in medical demography from London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine. Dr. Mostafa, served icddr,b in different capacities and at the later stage as senior demographer for about 25 years. He worked as a Data Analysis and data management expert for numerous research projects. He is well conversant with MS Access, SPSS, STATA for performing statistical analysis (qualitative and quantitative) and skilled at developing relational electronic database applications for data entry. He is ingenious in designing data template, planning and supervising data entry, error management, quality control of data and maintaining database. He has strong skill in data consistency checking and data cleaning for large scale surveys.

Fazila Banu Lily, Ph.D
Women Empowerment Specialist
Ms. Lily is a women empowerment and child rights specialist at CBSG. She obtained her Ph. D in Sociology (Gender Division of Labour in Rural Production Systems) from Jaharlal Neheru University, India. She was educated and professionally trained in UK, USA, Canada, Pakistan and Malaysia. She held senior positions in different national and international organizations as researcher, director programme, director research and gender specialist. As a gender specialist she led a great number of researches, study, organizational development on gender equality and women rights. She performed gender analyses and gender audits, manage gender strategies, undertake gender-sensitive evaluations and coach managers through gender-sensitive project management with many national and international organizations including CARE Canada, SDC, SIDA, DANIDA and so on. She had work experience in South-East Asia and North-America. Also, she had a good number of publications and reports on gender equality and women rights.

Simon Baker, Ph.D
Senior Consultant - Modern Slavery
Dr. Baker is an international research and evaluation consultant of CBSG. He earned his Ph.D. in Demography from Australian National University in Canberra, Australia and worked with human trafficking victims, including children, female sex workers, migrant workers, and youth at risk across Asia, for over 25 years. He has guided numerous thematic projects that focused on preventing human trafficking, child sexual exploitation, child slavery, and child labor, and ending child prostitution and pornography. Dr. Baker has proven track record of working for USAID, USDOS and USDL projects in south Asian countries. He has published several papers and presented conference papers on human trafficking, HIV/AIDS, migrations, and child and women trafficking. He has strong cultural understanding about Bangladesh through his engagement with CBSG on human trafficking, forced migration, and missing child programs researches.

Dr. Rita Sen, Ph.D
Social Research and Gender Specialist
Dr. Sen has an illustrious career in social and gender related research, program evaluation and learning activities. She is a social scientist and earned her Ph.D in women empowerment. She held senior positions in different national and international organization as Researcher, Programme Director, Research Director and Gender Specialist. She worked as gender and social development specialist in evaluations and research various program including reproductive and public health, women rights, livelihood development, migration, and commercial sex exploitation. She has mastery on various evaluation methodologies including PRA and appreciative inquiry and trained on qualitative research methodologies in UK, Canada and India. She held senior positions in the research and evaluation division of BRAC, Save the Children, ILO, Concern Worldwide, WorldFish, and Oxfam-UK. At World Fish and so on.
